Hey I was looking on line and came across this picture does anyone know what head this is or is it an available anywhere or is it a modified head? The article just said they purchased it used and nothing else really about it.

The top looks like an early Reeder head, but the bottom is different, maybe they where playing with combustion chamber?

Look inside the water outlet if it has a letter in it, Parker was one made in that style one time, I believe he stopped making them with some issues about the royalties on the Ford script.

Looks like a reeder chamber.

Thanks for the replies, I'm just trying to get a little more compression than the Sherman style head and I found a picture of this head but no maker or where to get one which now seems as if it's an older discontinued head. The chamber around the valves on this head looks a little shallower for end result of higher compression not much more but this is a hill climb car, so every bit helps.

The Reeder Head usually had some raised lettering on the driver's side opposite the MADE on top and the letters R E E D E R cast around the inside area of the water outlet.

The inside area looks more like a Zajicek head.

Interestingly Ralph Reeder and Ralph Zajicek both made and sold aluminum heads, both lived in Texas, and both went across the USA in the same Model T.
