What sort of cam grinds are being used in OHV T engines that can use the different properties that a Rajo or Fontenac head have.
I am thinking that something like a Model A grind with better carburation would improve the performance greatly.

I installed one of Chaffin's "driver" regrinds in my BB Racer near 30 years ago - quite happy with the results & response !

There are infinite possibilities of cam grinds. When you go looking, ask yourself if you're looking for speed or torque, and then consider what RPM range you want. There are cam grinders out there who can customize to your needs, and that'll probably give you more satisfying results than "oh, just throw X in."

There is a wide range of cam grinds. Unless you are an engineery kinda guy or have a lot of engine experience your best bet is to get real world feedback. FYI, Steve Is one of the guys I’d listen to.

I'm pretty positive I have a stock A cam in mine with the lobes knocked off. I'm not positive due to the builders rip and I was a bit too young to remember (few weeks old) when it was assembled. So I'm going off of what I remember hearing. The lobes being cut down allow for offset rockers to make up for the lift and being cut down allows for longer duration. The trick or course is to put the T nose on the cut down A cam.
