Any ideas what this is?

Found in a box of goodies. Fits the steering column. No idea what it was used for.

I assume it is some sort of dash clamp/stabilizer for the steering column.

Steering column stabilizer/dash bracket combo for the 19 and up Model T’s. Another T accessory to add to the long list of Model T accessories.

Here are a few more accessory dash panel clamps. Popular until Ford added the riveted clamp as std. later in 1923.

I'd like to add to Mike's thread.
From the "What this is?" department
I've been trying to locate in a supposed cache of T parts at a family storage location some headlight parts and a carbide generator. No such luck, but what I did find are the following, please see enclosed pictures, I assume they are brake parts for the 1914 T, but they may also be from a Maxwell project that has departed the fix for greener pastures.

You’re right the top one hanging on the handle is a brake band but the other piece is a dandy acetylene tank holder & maybe a one piece one but not sure. Best John
