I am trying to better understand Holly G carburetors (1914-1919) and which version is correct for various year car from 1914 to 1919.
Please only post photos of Holly G carbs showing (a shot directly into air inlet mouth, directly into the fuel mixture outlet, both right and left sides of the carb showing complete details of choke lever and throttle levers. Photos of any unique features.
Here is where I am going with this.
I recently bought a 1915 Runabout and am trying to make, install and use a period correct (per Ford factory drawings) choke pull rod, I made one from these drawing and it wont fit (now, I an on a mission to know why. I understand there were many changes to G carbs over the years for non starter/starter equipped Model T's. .

Ron - perhaps you could post a few photos of your G & those of us that are familiar with that carburetor can offer assistance to your endeavor.

Thanks to Mark Eyre I beleive the attached photo is of the first version of the the early Holly G Carb.
Notice it is shrter in length from later G''s and would explain why my correct choke pull rod is too short for the later G?

I am looking for two of the Holly G Carbs EXACTALLY like shown in my post above.
If anyone has one for sale please let me know? Perhaps we can work a del on some rebuilt coils?

The Holley G you have pictured with the ring around the air horn is a bit shorter. The other brass and cast iron G’s are the same length. These are all the Holleys from 1912-1919.
The choke arms are all the same length.

The shorter G is the same length as the NH.
Hard to tell because of the perspective but the long arm NH choke arm is the same length as the G.

Thanks for the photos. Can you tell me the difference in height between the early and later Holly G carb.
The great information you supplid and my discussions with Mark Eyre's and information he brought to my attention shown in Bruce McCalley's book help clearly explains waht was giving me so much trouble with making a choke pull rod for my 1915 Runabout.
Little did I know wha the simple task of making a choke pull rod would lead.

There’s 3/16” difference in height but the choke shafts are in the exact same location.
