Here’s a wrecking yard photo taken supposedly in 1918.
There are suppose to be 2 men some where looking around according to the photo caption.
At first it seems like a flood photo but don’t think so.
Would love to have seen that back in the day!
Looking closely at it it’s pretty close to 1918 or not much older than that.

Bad as "Where's Waldo"!!...but one guy is near the middle bottom..in what looks like a black suit of sorts. Regardless...this is criminal!

I suspect the inventory went to the WWI war effort in 1918. My uncle was drafted in 1917.

I saw the guy in the suit but after looking at it closer I can see the other guy looking in the same direction of whatever they are looking at. And he has a suit coat on too.
I wonder what parts they are looking for or if they are deciding to decide if they are going to sell for the War effort or??

Very unlikely any T's there. They are very durable and also very repairable. Most likely the inferior other makes and models which cost much more and more expensive to repair.

At first glance maybe a Model T but expanding the picture maybe not. Whatever the other brand cars are they were closely pulled in close to each other. It would have been close to impossible to pull out a possible car to fix. But easy to pile up together with a dozer.

In looking this picture over I see two things that really stand out to me and that is I can only make out maybe three cars that are closed one of the three appears to be a utility type like a bread truck upper left near buildings. The other thing that stands out is the steering wheels are mostly apposite that of our Fords, the hub being lower than the rim. Also they mostly seem to be heading towards the same direction so I don't think there was any flood involved. Jim
