I was looking at this and noticed a few things. Tell me what you think.
Thanks!

Matt,
Looks like you found a vintage lift kit with all those added springs. LOL, Must have been a rough ride with a fat girl or something.
All the Best,
Hank

Well, ... it has LOTSA spring leafs. And it doesn’t have the correct U bolts fastened to the front motor mount. Also it appears that something has been welded to the top of the axle on the bottom left of the front motor mount. But,...with a pint of latex black it could be made to be a Stynoski winner !!

The usual spring U bolts would have been discarded as too short to accommodate all the extra spring leaves. Looks like it started out as an erly tper leaf spring, with later shopped end leaves added.

Looks like it may have been made into a trailer at one time.

Jim,
You got it! I had a friend contact me and ask if I would get this out of their yard because they were clearing the space for building. It was used as a vineyard wagon. I noticed both front and back had added leaf springs. I added sheet parts to make it into yard art. It also had a draw bar to connect it to the tractor. It was interesting in that it was designed to actually turn the front wheels. I keep that to use when I need to tow my T;) (Yeah I know that would be a bad idea.
The engine mount taken from an earlier because that made it easier than dealing with the the 1926/7 one that was on this frame.
Anyway, I guess I could sell this "lift kit" setup!

Well of course it had a second life as a trailer. Farm wagons like that are all over the country. We thought you had something unusual on the “front axle” for which you were soliciting guesses...

George,
Thanks for pointing out that I am not the sharpest pencil in the pack.
Actually, I thought that the front engine mount was something special. I guess many times it is covered and the fact I have focused on later model Ts (or 1926/7). When I went to post the key to my discovery, in my last post, I finally figured out what key word to search under... Then I found that the punt was really common. My discovery was even simpler than what you mentioned!
This is what I like about the hobby- That you can learn something every day!

Many years ago, I had one of those trailer "draw bar" setups in a box full of model T parts that I bought. It was a nice cast iron piece that bolted onto the axle and tie rod to tow and steer the T chassis. I made the missing draw bar and fitted other clamp pieces that were missing. I figured that "in a pinch" it might be handy to tow a T a short distance. Or maybe even a longer distance if the T had a transmission with a real neutral (since many of the Ts I have had were speedsters with such transmissions).
I have never used it. To this day, it leans on the side of a storage shed. Just in case I or someone I know needs one in a hurry.

Cool trailer Matt! Nice yard art for sure.
Bah, that's an earlier engine front mount.
I think my 18 has one of those but without the flats on the bottom...
I like those wider mounts, they have "a look" to me.
Thank you also for being "that guy" your friends can rely on. To rid themselves of XXXX. Oop, starts with a J.
BTDT.

Loved it all the way.

I have one of those wagon "conversions " drawbar setups for a trailer. I always wanted to build a "T" based trailer to pull behind a "T" based tractor conversion or "Doodle Bug" for parades and shows. Thought it would be cool to haul kids and such. Dave
