Aftermarket distributor set up...anyone know what it is?

Never seen one like this, it is a very nice casting. The distributor part is off of a mid 50's VW.

Hi Douglas,
Looks like a Atwater-Kent model H that has been converted to a Bosch. They lend well to adaptation. I have one with a similar Bosch unit on it
( not as clean of a job as that one ) They are a very robust unit & as strong as a timing cover unit. I Also have one with a Stoltz distributer & one
with Pertronix installed with stock cap & rotor. I hope you have the cam gear as they are not easy to come by, as far as I know there is at least
two different ones.

Thank you Craig! The base is a very nice bit of cast iron and it rather heavy. Do have the cam gear. Good note on the Petronix!
