Odd T differential spider

What is this T style differential spider for? No center hole for the axles…

Perhaps a really early spyder? Kim Dobbins may know. Any chance it has DB on it. I know the really early spyder gears had bronze bushings in them.

Well it is a Model A spider. Never would have guessed that. Same exact size as a T only no hole… Thanks John.

so the A axles are retained by the carrier correct?

And Model A spider gears are the same as T. Later they did add an oil hole, but fit and function, the same. Take some time to go through the 1928 Model T parts book, you will find a few parts that carry the A part numbers.
