OCF Application
The application process for the 2019 Old Car Festival opened this morning. I just submitted mine. These are the pictures I attached.
They say acceptance or denial notification will be in the second week of August, but if I remember correctly last year it turned out to be in early July.

Were you emailed an invitation, or did you apply off The Henry Ford's site?

Re: OCF Application
I guess I will have to wait awhile this year. I have no sheetmetal on the TT for photos. Could be a few weeks as I am still down from surgery.

...are you driving the T over again this year?
Yep. I'm planning on it. I aim to do it without a major oil leak and rod failure this time. I also plan to start a day earlier and have some time for sight-seeing on the way.

Re: OCF Application
I submitted the application, however there was no link or place to attach photos on the link. Maybe due to using iPad or for some reason the submit photo page had no information about attaching pics. I submitted the application and emailed photos of the cars, so we'll see what happens. Thank for posting this thread to allow us time to apply promptly.

I'd be absolutely flabbergasted if they did not accept Steve's, Rob's or Dallas's request.

Re: OCF Application
I've added disk brakes to my '23 touring for safety. That feature specifically disqualifies my car yet they allow seat belts. Disappointed.....

Re: OCF Application
Applied and both my Model T and fire engine have been accepted. Looking forward to meeting as many forum members as i can instead of narrating the pass in review.
Any thoughts on having a sort of forum get together at the OCF?
It would be fun.

Re: OCF Application
Hi Marty, Yes, a Forum gathering at the OCF would be fun! We had one organized by Rob a few years ago. I think it was at 4:30 or so and was held at the Eagle Tavern. By having it at 4:30, the Pass in Review was over and it was still before dusk when the Gaslight Parade starts.
What do you think?
Keith

Re: OCF Application
Some of us of the elderly persuasion intend to drive there. Being young (under 70) usually means having a job, which has a way of limiting playtime. But if you have the required free time, you might want to make it a Model T road trip. I'm planning on seven days going and seven (or more) coming home so I can stop for some sight-seeing along the way.
The inevitable often happens.

Keith and all:
Well, let's try it.
I'm proposing a meeting on Saturday at 4 p.m. in the little plaza in front of the Ford Motor Company plant. Great background for a photo op.
(Should I start a new thread?)
Whaddya think?

Marty
I have only been to Dearborn a couple of times, but I know that The Henry Ford & Greenfield Village are surrounded by Ford plants. Maybe if you said which plant and what address you are referring to. Or are you talking about the replica Mack Ave plant inside Greenfield Village?
