I didn't think the people were all that small? Until I noticed that the curb and sidewalk they are standing on is nearly up to the hubcaps! Okay, a couple inches below the hubcaps, but still, that is a tall curb.
Great picture! Thanks Jay!

I like that one. Is the round window in the back curtain a Canadian feature or a replacement.
Thanks for posting.
Rich
When did I do that?

The photo looks west on West 5th Street in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Even though I have never seen the photo, I recognized the location right away.

I believe the building with the iron fence is an apartment building.

The building immediately behind the subjects is the St. Paul Auditorium, aka "Stern Hall," completed in 1907 and torn down in 1982. Note the partial view of the auditorium sign.

The domed building in the far background is the Cathedral of St. Paul.

The curb height is normal. Your eyes are playing tricks on you if you think it is even with the hubs of the cars.

The Minnesota Historical Society has a collection of photos taken during various years of both the exterior and interior of the St. Paul Auditorium. Here is a photo from 1965 from a similar perspective.
