I'm hunting for a front left fender for a 1927 T and have been offered a fender from a 1926.

Anyone know if this will be a matching fender for the '27?

Many thanks,

Joe

1927 T model short answer on the front fenders yes on all front ones. The model T ie coupe, Touring, roadster, Tudor sedan, Fordor. Coupe & roadster yes on all 4 fenders, I think Tudor & Fordor yes on all 4 not sure on the rear fenders on a touring but front is a yes.

Coupe, Roadster, Pickup rear the same Tudor Fordor, Touring rear the same. Mounting bracket came in two types for Coupe, Roadster, and Pickup, stamped steel, and a heavier bracket formed out of thick bar stock. Front all the same for both years. Only TT used the earlier pre 26 front fenders.

There are some minor differences in the 1926 - 1927 front fenders over the course of production, just FYI.

Best I can remember, they are the same. If any difference, it would be the stamping where the headlights mount prior or after the headlight bar.

Gee, Y'all are making me feel like a 'Schmuck" pointing out all these MINOR differences in 26-27 front fenders. I've had SIX 1926-27's over the years, and except for one set on a 26 fordor that appear to have been "worked" so many times that the outer ridge on the fender is almost smooth and the fenders almost look like Model A's, I'd never noticed any MAJOR difference.

Wow, I'm surprised that there are so many large and small differences between fenders. I'm going to get my 2 front fenders out and compare them with each other to see if they even match each other.

What a can of worms to sort through - or maybe just bolt on a replacement fender and call it close.....

Thanks for your feedback,

Joe
