Thanks to a forum member here, and encouragement from a NJ model T bud,
I bought a 1922 block at Luray with crankshaft, pistons, valves and head for the sum of $75 bucks.
Another $25 and he added in a three dip pan.
These two items plus the two fenders I bought, all came back in the rear of my Ford Fusion.
Pics to follow tomorrow.

I hope ot brings you many fond memories down the road and thanks for not making put it back on the trailer!
Also we owe a big shout out Darrel Bobzin (Sweet23 here on the forum) for the loaner tool to take the head off. Everyone should check with him for tools!
I sent some hardware with your friends who did not have room on the trailer for the block. It's just the pan nuts and bolts. Everyone needs extras!

That’s a good deal Will for the 22 block and etc! I can’t help but ask if he still had the transmission or was he parting it out and somebody got the transmission.

I think he had the transmission, too. But I already have one and a hogshead in my stash.

I blew it apart and that is the small drum transmission I still have left.
Don't have the facility anymore for the hoist so 3 engine and transmissions were much easier to move by hand separately. Parts like triple and driven gears were kept together.
