I use 140w gl-4, not sure if that is what it calls for but it has worked well for many years.

Redline Oil makes a synthetic heavy duty gear lube called Shock Proof. It has worked extremely well in my Chicago transmission. It runs cooler and is much quieter since I changed it over from conventional gear oil.
