We have done this a few times now. Always fun. Took the car apart and then put it together in 15 minutes. Angie is getting good at it now.

Events like those are great fun. The Inland Empire T Club in Spokane put on one such event at a national tour in Post Falls, Idaho when there was a party of us Aussies on the tour. Four of us, plus one spouse and one Kiwi, made up the Anzac team, the Australian and New Zealand Assembly Corps.
Their pile of parts included a frame, a front axle assembly, a back axle assembly, four 26 wire wheels, a steering column and firewall assembly, radiator with attached fuel can, fenders and running boards and a rudimentary body bucket.
The parts had to be dragged off the grass verge, assembled and then driven over a finish line down the roadway a little. The Spokane club made up one team, a crack team of Californians resplendent in team uniforms another, and our scratch team of overseas tourists. Modesty prevents me from reporting the results, or the time we posted. Like Henry's production line, it depended on the correct order of delivery of parts, and in this we were greatly assisted by our one female team member.

The Greater St. Louis Chapter has been doing 'Rapid Assembly' demos throughout the region since 2005. We've done it at nursing homes, in the parking lot of a Children's cancer hospital, at an endless number of car shows big and small, even at the Indiana State Fair a few years ago. Our assembly times range from 6 mins 30 secs to about 13 mins depending on the experience of the crew. These demos are a tribute to county fairs during the great depression and EVERYONE who sees them current day comes away smiling.
