Anyone put one of these on lately? I’ve got an email out to Mike at Classtique but his printed out directions are pretty basic as far as pictures/illustrations. Trying to figure out where to locate the back straps and seems like it would be easier to mock the back window up first, centered, and determine where the fasteners go in the tack rail, since there’s only one tack rail, and stretch UP from there. That would give you the locations for the back straps in order to hide the window seams. Then put on the back straps and the top bolsters….Also, do you put the hide-em welt on, THEN the bottom window fasteners/turnbuckles leaving spaces in the welt for the fastener/screws?

Did the roll up on the '27 touring, laid on the top cover and then test aligned the roll up piece to be sure the back stabilizing straps did not get in the way of the roll up. Make sure to space the straps, or they will be visible when the rear window is rolled up

Placing the Common Sense fasteners over the Hidem Welt was easy to do, best to fully trim out then add the snaps. The side Common Sense were fitted at the same time to stretch the roll up and be sure all the snaps can close evenly without excess pulling to stretch the rear roll up.
Measure space distance for rear straps first and tack in place prior to building the top.

Ford never offered a roll up rear curtain for a 26. Also note the window is larger than the factory window.

Thanks Dan! That confirms what I was thinking! You continue to be a valuable resource here on the forum. But need to watch where you’re driving that Touring, them holes in the doors are obviously the result of some road rage incidents
