Is that a Ford Model K in front of the Freeport Garage? (last picture) Could they have been a Ford dealer? I see and NRS out front as well.

It's an American Underslung. And a 1905-06 Pope Hartford behind it.

Correct! Stan G has it right. The American is one of the smaller models. Maybe the "Scout"? A model N Ford around the corner.

The first photo is a modern era picture.

That last photo is interesting. It doesn't look right. I suspect the word "April" up in the corner is a clue.
I wonder if the picture was assembled from several through some sort of photoshop? Some areas of the picture don't seem to fit others. Shadows don't all agree. Transitions are done better than most if it is, but I suspect considerable alteration in the image.

I’d guess that photo is probably from the 60s or early 70’s, which puts it in an interesting position when we look at period photos of Model T’s. Consider the “new” photo is likely over 50 years old now, but it was taken when the car was about 50 or so. We’re at an interesting mid-point in the history of our cars. Something to ponder !

It’s a “u” , barely - likely proves Wayne’s supposition the photo has been greatly altered, or is a pastiche of period elements.

Hey there Rich B! Yeah, that is something I ponder about often.
Many of the older restorations we might play with have been restored longer than they were old when first restored! Boggles the mind. The 1927 Paige 6-45 sedan my dad bought when I was fifteen was forty years old when he bought it. It will be a hundred years old in three years. Somehow, I need to get back to working on it because it never got finished.
