Quick change bands, slots vs pins

Anyone have an opinion about slotted bands vs pins, on the quick change ears ?
A preference ?

Yes the pin style. I never really had good luck installing the slot type thru the door. The tabs seem to stick up and fowl on the pedal castings. To be fair, this has been on 25 back hog heads.
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas! :shock:

I've used both styles with no preference one way or the other. Most important, is to be sure they're in good condition, with NO cracks around the bases of the pins/tabs.
