One of the many gone( as in off line not dead yet) but not forgotten Model T contributors put this together.
Again only sharing what is possible and not gonna debate like the 1909 T purchase.
M1 real class,
Dry clutch using a SVO Mustang bell housing, clutch pressure plate, etc.
Tremec T5 transmission
Open driveshaft
Engine block bored to .060
Skat crankshaft
Custom built A rods
Special pistons
1.5 go 1 rockers
Full oil circumference oil delivery to rods via mains, injection to timing gears, rear cam bearing, rocker arm shaft.
Shy of 11 to 1 compression
Anything modern is free game, ie, as long as no frame boxing, real steel body, engine block is T, front axle, rear axle housing, hubs, period correct wheels and hubs. 1939 rule book! Interesting history, no cut off date was ever listed! If you have the money to stuff, modify, etc let it go!
160 hp at 203 cubic inch displacement @ 4,400 rpm.
Frickin Wow factor!

I must agree that his talents are at the highest level among us mere mortals.

No boxing the chassis? How does it stand 160 hp??
But that is more like art instead of something you drive

Beautiful work, a real eye opener, admirable in the extreme, but it is a hotrod, not a T, in MHO.

Does that have a T rear axle assembly? What about brakes? That car would scare me.

When a car is an assembly with numerous modern additions like coil over shocks and a Tremec gearbox it becomes a hotro in my eyes.. Had it had a Warford behind a T transmission and period Hartford friction shocks, then it could be considered a period speedster/race car.
There is nothing wrong with being a hotrod. Rodders do some of the best custom work seen, and this is a beauty to behold. I was not being derogatory of the car or the incredible workmanship. It just isn't a T anymore.

And pics of the broken crank!
Could be a good candidate for front brakes…?

Scat crank.... probably massaged. I suspect that that T would be a pleasure to drive.

Wow. Just... wow. I have to admit to doing a double double take on it... even WITH the modern geegaws on it, its a looker, no doubt!
You could probably come close to that using period components, but even IF it's a hotrod, damn, it's purdy! As in I certainly wouldn't roll it out of the garage for leaking oil...
I'm also curious how the unboxed frame handles the extra ponies...
