Went to a sale today and bought a small tote of miscellaneous auto parts for five dollars they also had a couple of oil cans I picked one up and asked how much and the nice lady said just take it so I did.

Nice find! I was lucky when I was looking for a good rear fender for my 24 Coupe. Two years later after going to Chickasha, watching adds and different old car sites I finally found a right NOS rear fender at a Garage sale 12 miles from my house! My older sister saw an add in the local paper garage sales that said old car parts and called me. I drove over to it and there it was for $40.00! I couldn’t believe my luck!

But there wasn’t any Ford marked oil cans like you found. I haven’t an oil can yet. T parts are where you find them as they say!

I was at a garage sale several years ago and the seller was a car guy, but later stuff from the 60's. I looked over everything and no Model T parts, at least until I opened a small box and lo and behold it was a NOS dash light for a 26-27 Coupe. The correct one, not a reproduction. I was shocked. I even told the guy what it was (I am known for my negotiating skills!) and he said he was happy I could use it, had no idea where he got it, but asked if five bucks was OK. Sure, I said.....

My brother in law gave me a cardboard box that he found in a garage of a house he was clearing, he said the old guy who had lived there used to be a mechanic at a long closed local Morris garage. Surely the box was full of old british car parts, mostly electrical stuff like dome lights and blinker relays and such, but at the bottom was a new old stock T spindle bolt, the old man must have kept it almost his whole life, great find !
