As I hunt for a spare rim, I want to make sure I match the four that are on my ‘26 coupe. I’ve attached a few pics if anyone can figure out what I have and what I need to look for. Any help would be appreciated.

26/7 Canadian Ford split rims

Kerry, thanks so much. Do i need to match exactly or will any other 21” rim work? I appreciate your help and finding such a rim quite elusive. Cheers.

The only difference is that the Canadian ones have the holes near the split rim for the spreading tool, also yours has a home made split lock. I have bought USA rims before and used on Canadian T and fit OK.

All 21" split rims will be interchangeable.

Still have to know what to look for in finding rims, the 21" Chev looks the same but the valve for the tube does not line up with the Ford wheel felloe.

Found it Frank. Conversations with Kiwi friends about the sale of the NZ business to the UK were all about the machinery being shipped out, but they were not aware of it ever being re-comissioned. It looks like it may be on the go again. My only thoughts were about the rolled BE rims for T's. Reports were that the NZ made ones were of lighter material than that used by Vintage Rims Australia, and were of a slightly different profile in the bead.

I bought one Model T with demountable rims that had one wheel with two valve stem holes drilled in it.

I later learned that wheel had a Chevy rim that fit the same way.

Later, I found and bought two new old stock rims that turned out to be Chevy rims.

You learn most things the hard way with a Model T.

You can use the Chevrolet rims by drilling a new valve stem hole in the correct place.
