I have newly acquired 1915 Centerdoor with AC Brakes, which I know nothing about.
How do I adjust them?
Thanks,
Dave

Best to post a picture of them since there were multiple versions. Are these original AC's or repro versions for example. some used rod others cables

The brakes are controlled by rods, not cable.

Typically the rod will be threaded so you can thread it in or out. Is there an equalizer?

I fitted mine a few weeks ago and have yet to experience great braking as I have not adjusted them enough. My plan is to jack wheels up and adjust until just ever so slightly dragging, then go for a trip. Then check again with wheel in air to ultimately aim for no dragging, once bedded in.
I have fitted return springs on mine. I got Suzuki motorbike 8cm brake lever return springs and over stretched them till they fitted with a bit of tension and they seem to work well. They are fitted at hubs to pull AC lever back and stop it dragging.

Be careful about driving very far with them slightly dragging. It could heat up the hub enough that your axle grease softens to the point of escaping around the seal and making a royal mess inside your hub and dripping down your wheel. Don't ask me how I know....
