I dropped in to the Tuesday night meeting to find several of the racers tweaking their
cars before heading over to Montana. Not much press about it here. Odd ....
More people are doing it today than ever before !

Gene

If you take WY120 north out of Cody to MT, you will drive right by me in Clark! Call me if you need anything. I'm in the shop putting the finishing touches on an '11 Torpedo that just came out of a Museum in MT...getting it ready for the road for a friend in FL.

Spent the night in Casper. The traffic on 25 between Colorado Springs and Fort Collins looked like the 405. It rained pretty hard coming up 25 between Cheyenne and Casper. I am looking forward to seeing the cars and watching.

I sent reply and have your phone number in my cell so will be sure to answer it and will not ignore as "unknown". Sorry to hear it's been wet. Pretty dry around here, but perhaps you can change that for us!

Enjoy the Center of the West...it's a fabulous group of museums...sounds like you've been there before?

Also, Verizon will not work outside of Cody. If you are driving "T", you'll be fine. If you have a one car trailer and modern, you'll be fine. If you have a two car trailer, stop at my gate and walk down the drive for a look to see if you want to drive it...I have a two car trailer with rollers on the rear and I have to leave the property empty (and I still drag) and load cars up on the main road...

So, it looks like the Montana 500 is not being broadcast live this year ....

I guess I'll go pack some front bearings and make myself useful ....

I really enjoy following the Montana 500 every year. I sure hope that someone will post pictures and day by day results. Someday, maybe someday, I'll be able to be there for it.....maybe someday!

Thanks, Keith

Will be a big day to start the 500 this year with the first day of over 250 miles. Over 25 cars will start out at 1 minute intervals with our first stop at 85 mile.
Next year will be the 60th year of the Montana 500 without an accident or injury! We're all planning and wishing everyone a safe and incident free race again this year.
