Haven't seen a plan of the wood pieces, length and width for the '25, they are different than the '26-'27, but do use the similar means of fastening metal bed strips, anchored in the saw kerf grooves of the bed boards.

Here are some photos of original wood and bed strips in a 1925 pick up bed.

Factory part numbers showing the bed boards for the '25 are different from the '26-'27

Hello,
There was a thread on the old forum 9/30/2010 with John Baier and Larry Smith. The bed boards were described in detail. Not sure how to access that old thread.

Here is that former post

The sketch is mine, but isn't for 1925 bed wood, only the later '26-'27 bed wood.

all-

Thanks for all the great replies they will be helpful when I get to the pickup bed.

I should have been more specific as I am looking for drawings of the body. I have a box of wood parts and I am trying to figure out what they are are what I am missing.

Thanks, Ed

I don't feel like checking my old articles, but as I recall the thickness of all the boards is 13/16" not 3/4". A question I've always wondered about is why someone with metal working experience hasn't made a roller to convert the later style metal bed strips to the correct style used in 1925.

Yes, you stated 13/16" on March 30, 2011. Don't you remember that?
