Howell’s sheet metal catalog??

For starters, I know the reputation Howell’s has on delivery of the parts ordered on a timely basis, if at all. I guess if you need the parts and they are the only supplier you have to gamble. As a “safeguard” I thought I would order through one of the dealers. They asked for Howell’s part number on the pieces I need. Last week I was able to access their catalog somewhere on line, but this week all I get is “unavailable”. Anyone know how to access their catalog?

This is their ebay site, FWIW. Maybe you can get some part numbers off of it. Good luck!

Thanks Greg, I’ve been to the Bay site. Their catalog has loads more parts than what is on Ebay. On EBay they have the common parts. I’m guessing the others you get on a list until they get enough that it’s worth tooling up. I need some of those.

I think I have a catalog from them from years ago. Might not be of any help unless I can find it.

Maybe calling them about 8-9 in the morning? Just a long shot.
Comments on Fordbarn early 2024 say the Owner is having trouble finding good sheet metal workers to make the parts. The poster on Fordbarn said he went by there and the door was locked. Don’t know about now. Until another sheet metal shop steps up to make old car sheet metal parts it’s a real hassle for a restorer. And that’s a shame.

Is that the conversation where the poster said he went by the building in San Antonio and the door was locked? Several of us explained he was stopping at the wrong Howell's sheetmetal building. :o

As far as being a hassle for Restorers, ...with tongue in cheek I would say that without sheetmetal fabricators offering parts for Model-Ts, it is a real hassle for 'Parts Changers'. :D  A restorer likely has the skillset and tools to make the basic repairs to damaged sheetmetal. Youtube videos and/or craftsmen here can show how to fabricate most of the pieces necessary to re-use original sheetmetal.

I have the physical printed catalog in my hands.

The original poster seems to have vanished. The catalog lists everything they make or did make, and has more stuff than their eBay store.

I have a Howells sheet metal catalog #55 that I used a few years ago to order some T body parts. Maybe yours is newer or? And no Brent in Tennessee I’m no parts changer and a lot of posters that build a T aren’t either. It must be nice to be a self appointed Genius T parts builder. I don’t have a diploma on the wall that I printed and wrote my name on.

This the Link to Howell's Sheet Metal for Model T parts only https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_dkr=1& ... del%20a%22 only 21 results were returned. That could mean what they have in current inventory

You need to log on eBay to contact them via eBay.

They also have a Facebook page but the last entry was in 2018
