Removing engine with a Warford question

My first time pulling a model T engine. It’s a 26 Roadster Pickup with an older aluminum Warford installed. I do have a frame brace supporting the Warford. Question-do I unbolt the Warford from the hogs head when hoisting the engine out (my preference) or do you try to take the Warford out bolted on which seems like it would be difficult? Also if leaving it in place does the Warford need to be drained before unbolting from the hogs head?

Unbolt it from the T transmission. Leave it hanging on its support. Won’t need to drain it..

Jim,
I agree with George, leave it in place. You might want to support the front of the Warford a bit, just to prevent bending the support bracket and putting stress on the drive line tube.
Good Luck.

What Terry and Jim said is how I do mine. Remove from transmission but support the Warford.
