YES. Thanks Tom. My favorite in this group is the 3rd picture, since I live in the middle of sugar beet country. Obviously hand defoliated, hand plucked from the ground, and loaded by hand.

I’d sure like to know the back story from those fellows who drove from Altoona PA to California in that homemade ‘hoopie’. Did they make it ? Where is the gas tank ? They lowered the steering column. Did the dog stay on top of the tent ? Thanks Tom; for all your era photos.
