Good grief ! I stays in front of the fireplace when temps drop to 45*. And, how difficult it must’ve been to crank that Fordson ( no electric starter ) under that apparatus when freezing.

Keep the Clark heater going under it overnight? My Dad used to stuff a hairdryer under the hood of his VW bug on cold winter nights.

Here so far it has been in 60's and 70's during the day, but as soon as the sun sets drops to 45 or 50. Just enough to use the fireplace in the evening. We use a space heater some mornings until about 8:00. I used to take the kids to the mountains to play in snow in winter, but now only go there in summer! My great grandchildren are now either in high school or have already graduated. I wish they lived closer, but choose to live in colder wetter area. I still take one of the T's out for a while during the day, but not at night or in seldom icy weather.
