We avoided the snow in central Texas but not a cold rain in the thirties.

Pretty dry up here in Iowa. This time last year we had two big blizzards come though in about two weeks time. Seems like the same pattern as last year just further south. If it wasn't for the salt on the roads, some pretty hardy folks could be driving their T's this month!

Very dry and windy around here. Usually at this time of year we have some rain, but none for months. We have gotten warnings that the electricity might be turned off, but not yet. This wind should be over by Saturday, but still no rain in forecast. Northern California has been just the opposite. They have had rain in the valleys and snow on the mountains. At least we haven't had fires like around LA. I hope none of our members have not been burnt out or lost their cars in the fires.
