Good morning,
I have this dash clock and the key wind is stuck. My question is is this one worth sending to a clock smith for repair and does anyone know any good smiths to do the work. Any suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks

That clock looks like a great survivor and with intact glass too, worth having fixed. The spring could be over wound or just need cleaning.
This is an older post 2019, but lists some confirmed clocksmiths.

Get some special watch oil (you can get it from eBay) and oil the gears, the spring and balance wheel. Insert the key and gently turn it in the opposite direction than the winding direction. While applying gentle pressure to the key, flick the balance wheel to see if it will start and keep going on its’ own. In turning the key in the opposite winding direction it will, hopefully help loosen the spring so it will not be bound up buy having been overwound so tight that it has squeezed the oil out from between the loops of the spring.
Moebius 8000 oil
