KIDS CORNER: Model T's For Kids - Teach your grand kids about our wonderful hobby!

I'm sure many of you would agree with me that it's important for our kids (and grand-kids) to learn about important historical figures such as Henry Ford and the history of the automobile, in particular, the one that was first to be mass produced on an assembly line - our beloved Model T!
I have taken the time to update my Model T site's kids section; "Kids Corner", to make it more "kid friendly" and easier for kids to understand.
I've also added a lot more pictures, relevant to the topic, as we know, lots of kids are visual learners.
I would greatly appreciate your feedback and suggestions for any improvements or additions that could be made.

Mitch, I totally agree with your idea to help get kids more interested in our great hobby. Congratulations on your efforts.
But, why is this endeavour from Australia by an Australian, couched in American? The Bluey phenomenon for kids has gone world wide, and a lot of this success is due to its "Australian" content. We don't color in, Aussie kids colour in. We call a center door a centre door. We don't call a tourer a touring, just like we don't call an attack aircraft a fighting. There is no cringe factor in using our own version of English. Hang your hat on being an Aussie.

Mitch, that is a great children's page and a good way to introduce them to history. Keep up the great work.
Allen, I see your point about being proud of one's nationality and perhaps it would make a good addition to one of Mitch's pages if he were to show how the different countries spell a word differently for the same car or truck.

I'm excited to announce two new updates to the Kids Corner page...
- Two new word searches with increased difficulty for slightly older kids.
- A jumbo size, 50-clue Model T Ford oriented crossword puzzle, with answers provided in a separate document.

The kids corner is a great idea Mitch. Don't forget to included McDonough Power Equipment because in 1959 they introduced the half-scale Model T's for kids. Some McDonough's Model T replicas were sold in amusement parks to teach kids how to drive but many more were sold as presents to help get kids involved in the hobby.

I've seen pictures of those kid-sized Model T's online, if I ever find one for sale, I'm definitely going to buy it!!

Very well presented. The club should add a forum for the kids. We are all getting older and need younger generations to carry on the hobby and be the caretakers for our cars.

Mitch, I know there are several in Australia.
They even had them at Gilltrap’s Auto Museum in Coolangatta. When Gilltrap's opened in September of 1959 on Australia's Gold Coast it featured half-scale McDonough Model T replicas for the kids to drive.

Mitch, in 1963 the Antique Car Museum in Charlemont Massachusetts featured half-scale Model T’s for kids to drive. These little cars are a great way to get kids involved in our hobby.

Too bad those are all AI generated images and it's not real
Looks good at first glance, had me fooled momentarily...
I hope nobody actually hands over any money for this non existent beauty... a close up view of the attempted Ford logo straight away screams AI. So does the front spring that looks more like twisted rope. Sorry, I've used enough AI for legitimate purposes to see that this piece of art, though reasonably good, is attempting to rip people off— stay away!
