This is the image chosen for the 2025 Bakersfield Swap Meet's commemorative pin. Traditionally the year and make are stated below the car.
What is the consensus on the year of this Ford?
We need to be SURE so to hopefully avoid a long lasting mistake here.
We need to have this important detail nailed down in the next 24 hours in order to get the pins delivered before March 2nd.

2 lever + early first 2500? 1909.
Cant tell for sure if there are 3 pedals - that would not be correct to have a 3 pedal, 2 lever T.

Straight sockets, door handles & upside down horn is interesting.
Early 1909 two pedal & two lever, I do like the top knuckles.

Technically, an artist's rendition. However, one of the first thousand model T Fords produced, late in calendar 1908 or very early in calendar 1909, as a 1909 model.

There was some ford concept art of the Model T with three pedals and 2 levers, the picture was shared in an early Ford club meeting. The drawing depicted a model S with a touring body. 3 pedals and 2 levers

True, it's not a picture. It is a artist's conception... Conception of information he was told, or assumed.. was this particular artist 's print released prior to the introduction of the Model T in 1908,,... maybe to confuse the competitors ?

It was used in very early advertising. If you read Trent's explanation, he states that this was an early prototype design, so the "artist" was not misinformed, or given to assumptions or to misconceptions. It was the design at that particular place in early T history.

I would be curious to know if any such three pedal two lever model T was ever built? Even in the prototype stage, I seriously doubt one was built. I can't imagine how it would have functioned, practically speaking. But it could be possible.
I have seen the pictures, and read discussions a few times over the years. I have wondered about the idea for a long time.
Of course, a second lever could be added for any of a dozen uses, other brakes, gears, door release?

It would have functioned like a 1910 Buick, Model 10, which used that very arrangement. Probably, other makes and models did as well, but it's the '10 Buick that I'm familiar with.
As to its practicality, suffice to say that there's a "lot to do" when operating it, but it's really made more complex when you're used to driving a Model T. For folks accustomed to driving a Buick it's probably not a big deal.
