Calling all babbit experts. I don’t have Herm Khonke anymore to help me out. I picked these up last year. I believe the one on the right is for Model T, and the one on the left is for Fordson.
My question is everything here or am I missing something? Or are there some extra parts with the smaller one?
The small one is a Model 230. The large one is Model 231.

Not seeing anything to set the cutting shaft to the cam shaft for a centre line and the gear lash, also those old tooling sets are made to only cut to a standard size, back in the day if the shaft was worn and needed grinding, you just bought a new crankshaft.

There are feet on the frame casting that align on the dummy cam. Very easy to set up, just remember to oil the bearing saddles regularly. Cutters are fixed, bronze feed nut locks into the frame, and crank away. Be careful not to flex the bar when cranking as it will change the bearing dimensions. We adapted a QuikWay feed box to ours and drive with a angle drill

Very neat! Could you get a close up of the paper tag on the one you think is Fordson? I sent you a PM
Thanks Matt

RE the only use for standard. The KRW was made to only do standard but some, me included on mine and the frame/boring bar I bought earlier this spring, remove the cutters and add setscrews so the cutting depth can be adjusted.

You could show John Kohnke; Herm's son and he would know by the size of the mandrels.

Some of us with a KRW combo machine have under size reamers.
I have .010, .020 and .030. Cost a bunch to get them done . The feed on a combo is not fine enough for a good finish. It is made for only a rough cut.
Tobin arp gives a very good finish. Dan

As I recall, the Storm feed nut was 40 tpi, or .025” per revolution. The cutters were fixed in the bar at standard size, but as mentioned above we also added set screws to make it adjustable. Feed is definitely too fast for a good finish, that is why we built a feed screw and retrofit a KwikWay feed box to the unit. Best part of the Storm is that you can pull the saddles off and remove the bar to measure your bore without removing any cutters
