New Names

I suppose it's me but I seem to be seeing a heck of a lot of new names appearing since the change over. I'm also thinking about the dial-up guys. Did they make it through?

I've noticed some new names too, but on the old forum I would sometimes see a name I thought was new but when I looked at the profile it was usually somebody who had been on for quite a while but hadn't posted much. It may be that some folks who seem new are just more comfortable posting with the new format. As for dial-up guys, I was able to find one who made it through OK. Unfortunately members are alphabetized by user name, not real name, so finding anybody is a bit of a hassle. I expect there are others on dial-up who are here.

Just found another member I know is on dial-up, so the answer is yes, they made it.

The user name being used instead of the real name is a different setup. I think a lot have joined from the old version, but it just isn't as obvious who they are...

Been watching and I'm darn sure either there's a mess of new folks or a he*l of a lot of people chenged their names !!

I updated my user name (I mistakenly thought it was a requirement of the new format) but stil the same guy.

Marty, someone asked that on another post and Chris B said if you write a message to an administrator they will help you with that. Why would you want to change your name, Marty is fine or is your name not really Marty

Doug, I tried that with no response. I'm sure they are busy.
I have no problem with Marty -- although my real name is Martino -- I just would rather have my name show up instead of "fordconvert".
