Hand klaxon question

So I just got a cheap horn I can afford, it's most likely not the one my car had, I think it had the bras bulb one because the imprint on where it mounts is the same little square I've seen on the mounts for the bulb horn, anyways the 2 rear screws, one on the bracket one on the back and unscrewed a bit for the unscrewed one is this an adjustment or might I be able to screw it in fully? Then the bottom that flathead slot is this an adjustment? And that side screw I assume holds something. How might I mount it? I think if I can put the bracket 90 degrees it would screw into those holes on the side of the car or is it better to put it elsewhere?

This is the square I meant on the side of the car where a horn went at some point. The big question is if the bracket can be rotated 90 degrees or if I can get a different bracket.

It needs to be mounted so that the plunger is opposite the mounting bracket. If you rotate it 90 degrees and mount it on the outside of the door, working the plunger will twist the horn on the panel and likely crack the panel over time. Most I have seen are mounted on top of the door.

I see what you mean, might it be better then to make an adapter bracket that basically does a 90 degree turn to put 3 bolt holes on the top but still use the side mount?
