I took my three-year-old son to the park today in Graham, WA. I guess he wore himself out. He got to the car and decided to "take a nap" on the running board - lol.

I have a grandson that could do that. He can nap anywhere, I think. I've done the running board thing myself.

I barely had enough running board then. I'm 30+ lbs lighter now so I fit the running board a little better.

My Dad could never understand why they did away with runningboards in the late 30's. "Where do they expect you to sit to put your rubber boots on when you are going fishing?"

I wonder what Henry would think of the automatic, power running boards on my brother in law's new Ford F350 that lower and raise when the doors are opened and closed!
