Bob, we sincerely missed not being able to present the award to you in person at the awards presentation ceremony at the final banquet of the MTFCA National Tour in Stettler AB Canada. As I stated that night, we are all truly thankful for the Walter Rosenthal's like yourself in this world that make our hobby so special. It's because of people like you, always willing to drop everything when someone is in need, or something needs to get taken care of. So very thoughtful of others. Words don't properly describe the goodness that you have passed on to our brethren, making this hobby a very special place. And our thanks goes out to the people that took the time to submit their stories relating to some of your wonderful deeds.
Congratulations! Ed Archer

Thank you. I am honored to have been selected. I certainly would have liked to have been present at the banquet following the National Tour, but it just wasn't possible without a passport. Our Kansas City Chuggers Model T Club held a separate local special event banquet where MTFCA President, Stu Tomlinson presented me the award plaque. I was very proud to share the moment with the rest of the KC Chuggers, many of whom have helped me with 'helping others' T projects along the way.
Recently, several people have asked me how many significant 'helping others' T projects I've either completed myself, coordinated or been involved with. I couldn't remember exactly, so I sat down to reflect on it. Here's what I was able to come up with. Over the past few years, I could recall 43 'helping others' total T projects (sometimes KC Chuggers group projects), encompassing at least 23 T's (including a few A's) projects (helping others get the cars back to running and driving) and about 22 T's (including a few A's) projects (helping others sell family cars to get them in hands of people who would drive and enjoy them) - sometimes acquiring new members for our club, in the process!
Simply sharing God's blessings!
