Torque tube...what's this?

I don't recognize nor can fully make out the stamping on the torque tube flange..... anyone?

Whatever it is; the tube has been brazed, either to seal a leak or join two pieces from different tubes.

Since there dont appear to be rivets, which would have been brazed also, must been brazed only. I wouldnt assume it was repaired.
I have seen these early DS tubes cracked @ this joint.

It's an early 2 piece tube

Interesting as to why it would have been stamped Patented.

The stamping goes over the brazing. My 'guess' here is someone with humour did the fix and said 'I will patent that repair :lol: )!
