I'm going to mount a spotlight to the windshield of my '26. Where is the best place place to connect the wire?

You could run a wire to the tail light connection on the firewall terminal block and it will only work when the lights are on, or to the battery connection on the terminal block if you want it to work all the time.

Did you drive the T to your new home yet. Is the spotlight required now

It would be best to include an on-off switch if it doesn't already have one. Mine had a twist switch built into the connector on the rear of the light.

Not yet. That's on the 29th. The longest drive for the T in many years and the longest I've ever driven one!

I would wire it from the battery lead, (the thick yellow wire), with a switch placed in-line. That way, it can be used at any time, whether or not the car is running or if the headlights lights are turned on.
