A while back I posted about how I was going to make a new set of rear hubs for my 48 spoke pin drive Daytons. I included some pictures but I thought I would show the finished articles along with the rebuilt front hubs. I made the hubs out of 4130 and the pins out of hardened 416 stainless. Instead of riveting the pins on I made them longer and threaded them. This made them easy to install and exchange. On the rear hubs, this gave me 12 bolts holding the new hubs to the brake drum and the safety hubs. I think they are good to go. The next step is to re-spoke the wheels and replace a couple of rims.
