Made a sleeve between the timer and the adjustment rod; used grease. There was that much play. (background is 60 grit)
I had used screws with a plus + in order to attach the rain gutters to the top wood and tried to hide my sins with some black silicone.

I finally got the chance to install the wood bed kit my wife got me for Christmas , added disk wheel covers (thanks to Herb Iffrig),mad the support arm for my passenger side mirror, and went on the Hillbilly tour.

I managed to finish wrapping the wheel. Believe me it takes a while to get it right.

Haydon,
Beautiful looking paint job. Is it black?
Since you are bown under and the car is right hsns drive, I presume the body was made by Wm. Gray & Sons. I'm curious; What is the body number? It will be stamped into the wood on the seat riser in front of the gas tank cover, and on the underside of the fore-door, and one of the back doors.

Hi Keith,
It's definitely blue in the right light (a slight purple tinge in some lights).
The body is a modern repro that came with the project when we bought it in pieces from a deceased estate. It should technically be a slab side based on the 117,xxx engine number, but this is the body that the previous owner imported for it and we weren't going to throw it away (plus I like this shape).

Got the top irons pretty much ready to go to get a top put on my 12 Roadster, along with some pinstriping. Hopefully all done by end of October!

I also started on the garage pouring the slab by hand and dug out some parts that survived multiple hurricanes and moves and set them together to start thinking on the next build.
Replacement (unstamped) '14 block, early cross drive mag, DR4 mag (combination mag and dist), early hoggshead, nims water pump, and a fronty ported and worked over by Sherman.

Drove the T to the gas station for the first time in decades and put in $10 of 87 non-ethanol. Serignan's gas station opened in 1927, has stayed in the same family, so it seemed fitting. This is a photo of it from 2017 and is within a mile of the Ford assembly plant.

I drained the 2 year old fuel and bought a new battery. I'll hopefully do more when I feel up to it.
