Looks like a small town? Is that the total population or are some visitors?

My guess is thats the population being in Idaho and all that. Looks like the Amish kids are having a blast. I live in vacationland so we dont have a July 4th parade..can't inconvenience the tourists by closing a road for an hour or two. Heaven forbid!

Very nice pics Dean! Enthusiasm is more important that numbers anyway. :)
Looks similar to the St. Patrick's Day parade in the tiny town of Padua, MN!

I should have told you Dad to go watch the parade. He lives off of 22 by Orange Ave. in Kalona. What did you drive Dean?

That's one I haven't been to. We prefer the small town parades rather than the big towns. They often have a meal or pot luck afterwards and the folks are much more friendly as I see it.
Thanks
Rich

That would take a while to get rid of the bag of candy, but everybody gets more than one piece.

My first guess was that you were following an Allis Model C, but I'm not so sure. Somehow it looks smaller than a C.

I wouldn't think that people who vacation in Ohio were all that picky!

The vacationers aren't, but the locals don't dare tie up the precious "main parade route" BECAUSE of the tourists. Don't wanna upset the money machine!
