This one day parade/ event is held annually, driving from a beachside city suburb into the Adelaide Hills for a gigantic car show, vintage fashion parade and judging classes. There were 1554 entries this year.
I took Henrietta and Henry was my passenger.
We were part of he "Preservation class" for judging.

We were fortunate to be one of five class winners.
The concourse class went to a magnificent Packhard sedan from the 30's.

The Whole Sunday parade has people lined up along the route to watch the cars. They set out tents, barbecues, chairs and settle in for the parade, which takes up to 3 hours to pass them.

There were entrants from all states, such is the attraction of the event.

You blokes need to plan to come and be part of it in October 2027. Out National model T rally is here in South Australia then. We have timed it so you can do the week long rally and then go on to the B to B. Mark your caledars, and leave room in your luggage to bring me some replacement bibs.

Your ute is looking good as always. What's that blue contraption behind it?

It's a very home made utility which began life as a Rugby tourer. Had an interesting load of old stuff arranged on the tray and on wires strung along one side
Included was a full steel of 50"s era kitchen canisters! WTH.
