A client sent me this picture of a speedster his grandfather built. The client would like to know if the body is factory or homemade? I think it looks close to the Champion model A body, but I invite your opinions.

Need to match to the passenger side body line

Similar, but not an exact match. Looks manufactured, and manufactured speedster bodies probably had variations within a single maker's products over time.

To my eye, it looks to be a closer match to the Model "C' in the advertisement. The louvered hood and the cowl to hood transition angle are very similar to the drawing. The car in the photo looks to have taken the suggestion in the advert to remove the stock Ford fenders, running boards and splash aprons, but it still appears to be running the stock Ford radiator as described in the advert copy for the "C" version.
Keep crankin',

The cowl line is "swept" back on the advertised body unlike the one in the photo - it's straight - not the same.

Regardless of the make and model of a particular manufacturer, to answer the original question, it looks to me like a manufactured body not a homemade body.

Looks similar to C. But you have to remember that the same bodies were sold under a variety of names.

Manufactured. There were so many short lived manufacturers its hard to pinpoint the exact manufacuturer of some of these bodies.

Hard to match it, but some similarities. The builder of the car did make some modifications to the original design.
Top of back seat, length of cowl, steering wheel close to dash.
