I was asked by a local High School play technical director to display my 1922 Touring "Shirley" in the theater lobby for the High School performance of the play "The Great Gatsby". Of course, I said yes. The kids were super excited when it arrived Friday night. My wife and I attended the final performance in period dress Monday night and to bring it back home. The play was remarkably well done, very professional. My wife and I were minor celebrities with total strangers asking us questions. What a great hobby this is.

This year a group of us met at on the first day at an elementary school and parked cars (all vintages and makes) on the lawn and the kids and parents loved it. Many of us let kids sit in the cars and parents got photos and it was just a great time and excellent exposure for the cars.

They took out the center post in the entry door behind it to fit it in. It cleared by about 2-3 inches on both sides so no dismantling necessary. I put a piece of cardboard under the motor for drips. The students had never seen anything like the car in their lives and were very excited. It was great to be around them.
