Here is a strange request. I am trying to get somebody to make a "bra" for the front of my 1915 Coupelet. He has made one for a 1917 and still has the pattern but needs a 1915 to see what changes it needs to make it fit. Is there anybody near Hesperia, CA that might be willing to take their 1915 to the shop for him to measure? I would be very appreciative.

Just a thought, can he tell you what dimensions he needs, and then you measure your car to fill in the blanks for him?

Radiator, hood & cowl shapes are different.

If the bra is to protect the car front, there is a cheaper way which gives more protection. My son and I have done thousands of miles of interstate travel to tours with corflute panels like these. .
The front one threads on over the crank handle and is lifted up to the top. The top of the panel is held to the radiator neck with a zip tie. The beauty of this is it protects s the headlights too. The windscreen protector is cut to the cowl shape and held to the windscreen with zip ties around the wing nuts.
They are reusable over and over make good use of otherwise discarded plastic. They also promote some interesting discussions!

Coreflute is like corrugated cardboard in construction , except it is stronger and not effected by moisture. My panels make contact with the radiator top and headlights when fitted so they are supported by them when buffeted by headwinds. Likewise at the windscreen. I protect the radiator and headlight rims with cotton waste underfelt glued to the back side of the panels.

Something to consider? Being a coupelet, the position of the sidelamps and brackets will be different by a couple inches both up and forward relative to a runabout or touring car. If the bra attaches to the sidelamp brackets, that dimension might be critical to hold the bra tight enough to not flap badly in the wind.

Expect paint damage

That's the beauty of the corflute panels. The headlights being forward of the radiator means the panels make contact only with the headlight rims. The zip tie around the radiator neck pulls a curve into the panel, making it stiffer but there is no contact elsewhere other than at the hole over the crank handle.

Model Ts don’t need bras. Just a leather strap for the crank. That would be a jock strap.
