Score! It’s xmas - multiple T carbs - need help identifying
So I get a call today from the previous owner of my T “I’m closing my auto repair shop and I have a few parts I found you can have.”
I was there in an hour. Pics below of what he gave me. I’ve never seen these two carbs before. Perhaps someone can shed some lighting what they are ? I know one is a Zenith and very similar to my S4BF and the other is a Holley.
The tools all say “Ford” on them. No sizes are printed on them. The fuel pump is NOS and works!

Hey there Buddy - some of the tools are T, some maybe A, several V8 - the Holley carburetor is a G - electric start model - Zenith I'm not familiar with.

I think the Zenith could be mid 20's Chevrolet.
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas!

From the left, the adjustable wremch is 26-7 T model and into A model.
Next left is a TT spark plug/wheel nut wrench.
The 6th from left is a T spark plug/wheel nut/head bolt wench.
Of the little open end wrenches, the third and fourth from left look like T model band adjusting wrenches, T1917.
I thought the brass Holley carburetor was earlier than 1919 when starter equipped cars were introduced. By then the Holleys were cast iron. That two arm choke control on brass carby is new to me.

My first thought on the Holly G is about a '16. Then I saw the iron top with odd info (I couldn't quite read it). The two choke arms also indicate it was reworked at some point with some parts changed.
I don't know about the Zenith being Chevrolet. Chevy used mostly Carter carburetors during the '20s. Similar Zeniths were used by a lot of mid-size cars.

Zenith 04 = Chevrolet 490 and a few later 4 cylinder engines. A few other makers used them on their smaller, cheaper cars.
Nothing special. Not even close to S4BF performance.

Is the top on the Holley iron or bronze? I have come across a number of bronze bodied Holley's with the same configuration; iron top bronze body. Too many in my OP to flat out say they were all reworks. I wonder if the bronze bodies were used longer then what has been suggested in the past.
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas!

The Winfield is a several year later and much more sophisticated design. Zoom Zoom Zoom compared to Zoom Zoom S4BF!

Well then I’ll get right on that! It came with the car and I never seemed to be able to get the motor to run right with it. After a stock Holly and then your SB4F I now know what a good running Model T motor sounds and feels like so it’s probably time to revisit it.
