5 Ball Float and Seat

Since the passing of Stan and Russ does anyone have a source of valve seats and floats for the Kingston 5 Ball Carb?
The Stan Howe setup work great. The float is from a Harley Davidson.
The 1909 float and seat aren’t original. The problem is the seat is some sort of plastic ball and it hangs up.
Any source would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Rod

Dan,
The float in the 2nd picture of the 1909 Unknown is OK but the seat is sticking. It has some sort of plastic ball seat. Would you happen to have a different type in stock?
Please email me.
Thanks,
Rod

Don’t know what the seat is. Grose jet????
I don’t have anything for. 5 ball.
In the olden days we put the JD float in to G carbs.

I found what looks like the sticking float needle seat.

I ordered it and hopefully it works.

I've done a few 5 ball carbs and have used a brass float from an updraft carb on a cast iron Briggs and Stratton engine that fits quite well and bored the Kingston body and machined a Rochester 4 barrel seat and sweat it into the carb body and had to shorten the needle, A new hinge assembly with a screw adjustment for setting floor height worked very well.

I've made new floats for both 5 ball carbs and others using the closed cell material from Lang's without coating them. No issues to report after years of driving. I haven't had a leaking problem but still install a fuel shut off in line just in case. They're pretty easy to make on a lathe if you have a pattern.

If you have that Grose jet in there then there should be 3/8”-24 threads there already, then you can get one of those 4-barrel needle and seats as previously mentioned here. You may have to shorten the threads and the top part for sure. Be sure and reform the needle so the little wire hooks on and the float going down can pull the needle up because the gravity feed has a hard time pushing it up sometimes.
You’ll have to make a float arm. I put those in 4-balls all the time, have to drill and tap. The distance is the same on the 5 ball from the seat to float hinge pin. The arm is a little longer but you have to make that anyway. I’ve made 5-ball floats from the material the vendors sell.

Can someone please post a link to purchase a “4-barrel needle and seat” as previously mentioned?
Thanks,
