I'm surprised no one has mentioned the 1911/12 Town Car which is on facebook. This vehicle is in excellent original condition and must have been stored in a very friendly envionment for over 100 years. Their was a video showing the outside and inside which is remarkable condition it has since been deleted My Town Car is very close to this vehicle in its design ( there are several differences in body shape ) The extreior has no paint and shows the entire wood construction. What the story about that is hard to say, it could have been painted originaly and later stripped back to natural wood. No details about the chassis so what motor is in it is not mentioned so far but more than likely the chassis is as it should be.
I wish I had been able to see this when I built mine over 50 years ago. though I am thrilled that I got it mainly correct. Note it is RHD as is my Town Car.

The one who posted the video says it’s a 1909. I’m not as familiar with body differences in the town car between years of 09-12.

Body is 11/12, and would have been dark Blue with black fenders.
If not mistaken, this has original interior and top.

Yes Scot, the interior and top are original. This has to be the most original TC in existance.
It has a few things that look to be additions, a speaker horn next to the drivers right ear, a rail on the top of the left hand end of the front seat.

Nice car love to see them in this condition. Looks like an early Center Door Sedan in the background also.

There is obviously a keen Model T Ford group in Uruguay who have numerous Model T's they have collected, including some unusual local bodied T's. I'm surprised the existance of this group has not been more forthcoming all these years.
The Town Car is mobile, one photo shows it being driven with the brass work polished. The rear folding roof has had a hard life, maybe suffered some trauma at some time.
Being RHD this TC would have been supplied by Canada in its day. Canada supplied RHD T's from the beginning of their production, Australia and New Zealand and other British Empire countries received such RHD Town Cars from about 1910. Because Canada was supplying Model T's to the British commonwealth countries they had a large purpose built facility that produced crates to ship the Model T's overseas, Detroit mostly shipped T's as deck cargo or knocked down for assembly in other countries.
Canada was shipping Fords to West Indies so one sent further south to South America and Urugury would have been possible. This Town Car body design is typical of Canadian supplied Town Cars.
If Detroit supplied this RHD Town Car I have never seen any indication that happened, but having said that its possible evidence has not been produced from anyone in the possession of evidence of this. Members interested in these Town Cars would be delighted if such evidence was produced from anyone who has it.
