I'm glad I don't have money and it's too far away or I would be in trouble.

If you are a Drunk, you don't need a Lid.

It was a very full and entertaining day. There were a lot of good items (original and reproduction, new and used), the prices; cheap, good, almost retail and some leaving you scratching your head. There was a good sized crowd but there was a large volume to get through and it really started to thin out after about 2:00pm. The inside auction started a bit late due to the large quantity of items outside.

The food truck was excellent, my eldest son cleaned up on the reloading supplies (unrelated auction ring) and I think that this was the only auction that I walked out of with everything that I came with the intention of buying.

I bought the 1911 open roadster body and gas tank.

Last year I put together a chassis for this car thinking I would build a body later.

But when this one popped up I figured this was a quicker way to get it built.

There was a lot of stuff in this auction. They moved fast and you had to pay attention. A lot of discontinued parts which I was glad to see. They had two different auctions going inside which I thought was very distracting. You had to yell at them to get your bid in sometimes. But all in all I got most of what I was after. I know others dropped out due to all the distraction making it hard to follow at times. A lot of good buys I thought on early parts. Performance parts did well. You could have put an early car together pretty much from what was there. Great to see all this stuff come out.

Looks great Tom! That came together really quick! I planned on going and had a truck rented but then decided not to go on Friday night, but opted to go picking at a guys estate on Saturday and came home with many early goodies.

My dad and I went. We bought a lot of stuff some was reasonable and other stuff brought retail. We are only buying stuff for our current/future projects these days. We got the coupe body for a 10 chassis we have been collecting up over the years and the 13 roadster body. We had a great day. It was nice to catch up with some forum members. Had a lot of fun and spent some money. Sam was a local Model T guy and it nice to have a few items that he had in his collection.
