Well, they still exist out there! This one is for sale in Ohura, New Zealand. That happens to be a very small town in an out of the way place, but the dealership still shows signs of what it once was. The town was founded on coal, long shut down, and now supports a small rural population with around 160 residents today. The remains of the railway (long gone) can be seen.

Looks like the original parts shelves are still there from 1928!

(I have no connection with the sale, just saw it and thought it was interesting).

A little more digging shows that Ohura is part of a thriving tourist business using the still intact rail lines for 'rail cart' touring. Could be an adventure for your vacation bucket list

I wounder what something like that is worth, the way my home state is going it mite make a great place to retire.
